We love to go on field trips! Here we share with you some of our favorite homeschool field trips. We hope it will give you Field Trip Ideas that you can go on with your own homeschoolers.

Half Moon Bay Beaches
Check out our Half Moon Bay Beaches Pages! We spent an entire day at Half Moon Bay wading through tidepools, playing with pebbles and building driftwood forts. It was all a great learning experience!

Kikkoman Factory Tour
We went on a tour of the Kikkoman Factory! We learned all about the history of soy sauce and how soy sauce is made. We really enjoyed the great big machinery on this tour.

The Folsom Dam Tour
We toured the Folsom Dam! We learned all about hydroelectric power and the history of the Dam. We also followed some very tight security regulations...

The Discovery Museum - Challenger Learning Center
We went to outer space! Well, sort of. We participated in a Challenger Shuttle simulation and tried to keep everyone alive along the way!

103.9 The Fish - Radio Station Tour
We took a tour of the 103.9 The Fish Radio Station. We learned all about radio, how radio stations work and how radio shows are made. We even met a real live DJ!

Great Harvest Bread Company
Right before Thanksgiving we visited The Great Harvest Bread Company. We learned all about wheat and how to make bread. We even got to eat some yummy kinds of bread.

Nimbus Fish Hatchery
We visited The Nimbus Fish Hatchery and had a great time. We fed the fish, walked along the nature trail, had fun in the visitor's center and felt fortunate to be homeschoolers.

Guide Dogs for the Blind
We recently visited the Guide Dogs for the Blind Center located in San Rafael, California. We toured the facility, played with the puppies, and met a special new member of our family.

Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Camp
During the summer of 2006 Quintin and Zennin attended Shakespeare Camp. There, they learned how to make costumes, put on a play, and have a really great sword fight!

Park Days!
We love to go to the park! One of our favorite homeschool field trips is our park days. We do these over and over. It's like taking your classroom outside. Check it out!

Roller Skating!
We recently discovered the Homeschool Roller Skating at Kings Skate Country. It was FUN!
